The Governments Contribution

The government is doing its part by trying to upgrade the small–scale industries technologically. It has started encouraging foreign technological collaborations and has implemented the Special Economic Zones Act. The government is looking to see how best it can boost the competitiveness of Indian industries on a global scale.
